Following weeks of no leadership, opposition party Atassut has found someone to take the mantle.

With 15 votes, Gerhardt Petersen won the election ahead of Godmand Rasmussen who received seven votes.

Jens Peter Mølgaard got seven votes while Steen Lynge pulled out during the election.
